Neat detail

- Hex

The edges here are really neat.

enjoy!

Chair

Lots of new stuff in the next few days. Break was awesomely busy, and I have many new pictures up on my flickr feed. Feel free to head over there and comment.

For today:
Just thought it'd be neat to experiment with the lighting here with this chair and window.

- Beads
This one is neat because of the one bright leaf in sharp focus. Very cool

With this one I got the top of the fence, and the screen made a neat little effect with the tree. Grid-like

- Chair
It's even more noticeable here...

Enjoy!

Away

I'm heading up to Tahoe tonight to get some snowboarding in on Friday and Saturday. I'm really looking forward to seeing some new locations and getting to work with a very new neat element: snow. I'm going to try to take some walks and find some neat stuff, so expect lots of new pictures later next week.

As for today, I thought I'd post some pictures from my sky set

- Morning sun, oh-so-bright, scares away the scary night

- Blue

Hopefully these will keep you till Sunday or Monday
Enjoy!

textures and patterns

Textures and patterns are always interesting. This was originally a dark red, but I thought it looked better black and white.

Depressing Green

Taken through a window, although it's hard to tell unless you look at a bigger version. I love the green and the darkness. It was one of those grey depressing days where nothing really happens. Neat shot though...

Walk

From last weekend. I have a slow turnaround nowadays.
Thoughts and comments are welcome and encouraged

A favorite from the walk. Looks really neat

Thorns

- Thorns

I don't have much to say about this one. I like the colors and setup. I feel like the off angle works well too.
- enjoy

Shoedows

Lots of interesting stuff here. The shoes of course, but also the mat and leaves. I also like the lighting. My shadow on the right makes it looks like there's a door of light shining on the shoes. Neat stuff
- enjoy

Gritty

What I like most about this shot is how dirty it is. The grit on the windows, the darkness, and how most everything is out of focus. It really captures what it feels like to be inside and see the sun setting through the trees. Fun stuff

Dice

I like how the lighting is set up here, as well as the contrasting colors. The subtle pattern in the tablecloth is also neat.
