Sorry for the long break. I've been scrambling around, studying for a calc. test, and getting started on a bunch of work for my other classes.

Recently, I've been seeing more and more 'recuts' of movies. Someone will make a trailer of say "Titanic", and turn it into a musical, or a horror film. Some are great, and others are just silly. Here are a few of the latter:
Arnold as Hamlet
Fight Club/Brokeback Mountain

A short while ago, you may have seen this excellent rock rendition of Pachelbel's Canon, performaed by 'funtwo'.
Here's an impressive version performed on two guitars. Pretty sweet

So... yes... not much news today. Just had to post this wtf-esque vid.
I'm completely convinced that Japan is totally messed up.

Also, I found this interesting study, that says tall people are smarter, and earn more on average than shorter people. We live in the bay area, and my dad has his own buisiness, which is very successful. He's also 6'5", so maybe there is some truth to the study.

Tons of links today. Found some really good stuff.

Star Wars
And the best one: Gundam

Next up, Slo mo depot. A group of people from improveverywhere.com all shopped in slow motion at a home depot in New York. The best part is near the end, where they all freeze for five minutes. Check out some of their other neat 'missions' here

god hand!
rather interesting concept for a video game. It looks fun. As we all know from the success of dead rising, games where all you do is beat people up in unique ways can sell really well.

thats all for now ;)

Angry Parents

Never upset your parents, especially if you live in New Zealand

Ashley's family say his parents wanted to teach him a lesson about the
consequences of breaking the law. He had taken his mother's car without
permission so they had him charged him with theft.
On Thursday Ashley
appeared at the North Shore District Court. The judge offered him bail but his
parents chose to send him to prison as a deterrent.
But on the trip to
Auckland Central Remand prison, he was believed to have been strangled and
assaulted by two others in the van.
Ashley's family have issued a statement
listing 10 questions they want answered, such as why was a 17-year-old with no
history of serious crime or violence was transported unattended with more
serious offenders?

From One News

Ouch.
