Games

Impulse
http://www.taparo.com/impulse/
Impulse is an amusing online shockwave powered game where you place bombs in order to move your ball into a goal. It's quite addictive, and very easy to pick up.

Egg Way
http://ishi.blog2.fc2.com/blog-entry-186.html
this game is... eh... strange. You need to guide the egg into the pan. Sounds simple? Nope. Your only tool is a pencil that can draw thins lines that support the egg. Sound easier? Wrong still. The lines fade fast, so you'll be "drawing" like crazy. In case you think it's still an easy game, remember, you can't break the yolk, and there are plenty of spikes, platforms, and balloons to avoid. Be gentle!

Worst Game Ever?

who knew that "new" games these days could be so bad?

Click Red - Dexterity game

Try to beat my score of 331. Stop laughing! At least I beat it on my first try!

Alright, that's it for today. Enjoy!

Feed for 8-8

This is the format I'll typically be posting in. I'll give you a handfull of links, and a bit of commentary, then let you check them out.

For today I have a bit of a backlog, so don't expect this much normally. I usually find 7 or 8 good links a day, and I'll shoot for at least five. ^_^

Drawn to be alive

A strange concept for a game. It almost reminds me of roger rabbit.

Dead Rising - coming to a mall near you
http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2006/07/31/dead-rising-demo-to-rise-soon/
Imagine a game....about zombies!!!! I know! It's originality almost causes you to overlook it's awesomeness.
The concept of Dead Rising is basically this: You're a reporter that's stranded in a mall. And the mall is full of zombies. And you run aroundthe mall. With a chainsaw. And a hockey stick. And you kill zombies. =D

Beta Busts Photoshop contest

Very amusing.

Work Friendly - Sneaky proxy for you bad people out there
http://www.workfriendly.net/
I'll do a full post about all the good proxies out there later, but for now check out work friendly. It cleverly disguises the webpage you're viewing as a word document.

Random Desktop

I couldn't finish my wallpaper discussion without telling you guys about Sentinelware's Random Desktop. It's a great tool that switches out your wallpapers either randomly, or sequentially every few minutes. It sits in your system tray and uses only a small ammount of memory.
I like to have it in my startup folder, then let it run for a few minutes until I find a paper I really like. There's also a manual change button for you impatient folks.
Enjoy!:

Paper for your wall

First off, who doesn't need new wallpapers? There are plenty of clever sites out there with greta free papers. Try to steer away from the more sleazy sites that have lots of advertising, and stick to the more artsy ones.
To start you off here are a few sites I really like

http://www.xanthic.net/wallpapers.php
Xanthic has great "new age-ish" wallpapers. I'm a huge fan of his abstract collection:

http://www.pixelgirlpresents.com/
Pixelgirl... well, um... I'm hesitant to admit that I do occasionaly use papers indexed on her site. While it is more "girly", you will stumble across a good one now and then.

http://www.vladstudio.com/home/
Vladstudio is not only a good source for wallpaper, but also a great resource for you aspiring artists out there. He has a few neat tutorials you might want to read.

http://www.depthcore.com/v5/
Depthcore. Amazing modern art.

http://www.mandolux.com/
Mandolux is great for when you need some high quality double screen paper. Check out his archive.

Hopefully this'll set you up for a bit. I like to swith out my wallpaper "sets" about once every three weeks.
If you have your own neat source for wallpaper, feel free to share!

1st post

This is my first post, so I guess an explaination is due. For far too long I've been in a habit of sending a massive emails to my friends each day, an email filled with links to all the entertaining things I'd found so far that day. I gather my links from a variety of sources. While I don't claim to be original, I do think that the links I find are worth taking a look at. Hope you enjoy them, because there will be lots.
