Happy Birthday

Yesterday was my 18th birthday, and I got a very nice new camera from my parents. Look forward to seeing much better pictures from now on =D

This is an ornament of mine. Picture taken this past Christmas. I feel like the exposure here really captures how the light is at night on the tree. I really like it. Turned back the color saturation a bit also so that it feels like what your eye actually sees. I think it works quite nicely.

I like the whole dark/light contrast here. I think it works well with the color of the marble. The picture could have been much better though. With less harsh lighting you could see the neat fountain in the background.
