Rise or set?
- Rise or Set?

For a while I was really interested in clouds: sunsets and sunrises and how the light scatters and reflect everywhere; how the clouds absorb it and the stunning colors...

This shot is neat. Taken from the tip of my roof. I won't spoil the question that's in the title of the picture. Try to guess for yourself.

Daily Picture #7

Sorry for missing a post yesterday. You know how it gets sometimes. Two pictures today to make up for it.

We're now into pictures I took after Boston.
First up is one I took in Sn Fransisco during Fleet Week.

Mesh
- Mesh

This one is interesting because of the two opposite corners. There's granite in the lower one, and the upper shows the higher stories of the building. Then of course in between is the Metal latticework that caught my eye in the first place. You can also see the transamerican pyramid in the reflection of the glass.

Gold

- Gold

I love this picture. It's easily in my top 3. I shot it right after a storm had blown through, from my roof in the morning. The colors remind me of the film 'The Fountain'. Not much else to say here.

Daily Picture #6 + 300th post

Woo hoo! Post #300! *looks around and notices that no one cares*
Well hopefully someone out there is still reading. I'm celebrating by posting three pictures today, which will finish up my collection of photos from Boston.

Walking Away
- Walking Away

I took a few like this and edited them slightly. I loved how there was this random reflection pool in the middle of the city. I wish we had gone there earlier in the day because we had driven by it and the water was completely calm and still and looked just like a mirror.

P-town dock
- Abandoned Dock

This looked so creepy to me. We were out on the point of the cape in the middle of a bustling downtown, and out on the beach is this abandoned dock that's falling apart. It looked so neat with the bright sand in front of it.

cape 001
- Chatham Beach and Tennis Club.

Not much to say about this one. I like the whiteness of the house I guess...

Fallen Comrade
Fallen Comrade

This was the first picture for me that I really looked at artistically. I purposefully set up the angles and framing for this shot. It's so interesting. The blackness of the box, the little reflections of the glass, the symbolism (which I thought was most important/cool), and the colors.

King's Chapel

- King's Chapel

I took this while on our historical tour around the city. The chapel was a little bit creepy. I thought the obelisk in the front looked really neat.

Daily Picture #3

Fallout

For some reason this was on the outside of a historical building in downtown Boston. Does this mean the wall are lined with lead? I don't know, but I thought it was interesting and photo worthy.

Also: Be aware that you can click the photo to view larger sizes (for those of you with extra large monitors) You can also comment the photos on flickr.
